As of May 2012, Dig Deep has raised $18,660!
Walk for Water 2012
Come join us at our 3rd annual Walk for Water. Participants will carry water around a loop, mimicking the daily struggle of many African women, to raise funds and awareness for clean, accessible water!
Afterwards, there will be food, games, prizes, and fun!
We'll see you there! Friday, May 25 at 4 PM at Farrel McWhirter Park in Redmond, WA.

This video was created for National Philanthropy Day (Check out this article about Seattle's National Philanthropy Day celebration), where Dig Deep was awarded the "Outstanding Young Philanthropists" award. Speaking at National Philanthropy Day was a huge honor and there were over a thousand people in attendance on November 18, 2010. Thanks to Elliot Bay Productions for the wonderful video.
What is Dig Deep?
Dig Deep started in May of 2008. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that aims to provide underprivileged communities across the world with water systems, latrines, and hygiene education. Our first goal was to raise $10,000 to build 12 public water tap stands in rural Ethiopia, and we completed this goal in May of 2010. We have since given $10,000 to Water 1st International (Water1st.org), a Seattle-based nonprofit, to build out water system in Kelecho Gerbi, Ethiopia. The water system was completed in June 2011. We are currently raising money to build a second water system, also in Ethiopia. To raise this money, we have been selling merchandise with Dig Deep-designed graphics, holding bake sales, shoe raffles, campaigning for donations outside grocery stores, etc. We also raise money with many exciting fundraisers and each year we hold a Walk for Water.
Please help us out in any way you can. To donate, visit How You Can Help! Thank you!
